Apply for Grants

NCF is pleased to offer grant funding for organizations serving Niskayuna town residents and/or the Niskayuna school district. To be eligible, the applicant organization must qualify as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization according to IRS guidelines; or operate under the fiscal sponsorship of a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization; or be sponsored by the town or school district.

The 2025 grant season is now open.  Applications are due April 17, 2025. Applicants are notified by mid-July about the status of their application.
 
FULL GRANT PROGRAM DETAILS
The Niskayuna Community Foundation places the highest priority on projects that address significant community issues.  Single grants will range from $2,000 to $10,000.  Grants are awarded in the following fields:

• ​health and human services
• arts and culture
• community development
• conservation and historic preservation
• recreation
• capital projects including equipment purchases ​

​MINI-GRANT PROGRAM DETAILS
The Niskayuna Community Foundation considers mini-grant applications for up to $2000 that meet the same qualifications for full grants. Mini-grant applications are welcome and awards can be made year round. School-related applicants please contact [email protected]
