NCF Opens 2026 Grant Season
The Niskayuna Community Foundation (NCF) is pleased to announce available grant funding for 2026. NCF invites nonprofit organizations and programs to apply for grants by visiting our Grants webpagefor guidelines and an application. Grant applications are due on April 17, 2026.
“NCF is mission-driven to invest in local solutions, " stated NCF Grant Distribution Committee Chair Mike Mullaney. "Do you have a worthy program that needs funding to continue or expand? Or do you have a new idea that meets a community need and need someone to believe in it ?" he continued. “We encourage organizations that serve our town residents to apply for grant funding, and we’re especially eager to hear from new applicants that need resources for important initiatives,” he said.
Since the year 2000, the Niskayuna Community Foundation has awarded over $615,000in grants to more than 145 different organizations and programs that provide important services for town residents and opportunities for children in Niskayuna. In 2025, nearly $60,000 in NCF grants funded a wide range of initiatives, including support for: food insecure students, a mobile blood drive for Niskayuna, a horse therapy program for low income/unique learners, and AED training for high schoolers. NCF grants also made home safety improvements possible for low-income Niskayuna seniors and provided new basketball hoops for town parks.
